VCA ART 2021

Narelle White

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours)

I work on Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung land and am interested in the liveliness of matter, engaging clay, glaze and other stuff in experimental ceramic processes. Through experimentation and material poetics, I rethink the ways we relate to matter and to those ecologies that sustain us. My work proposes an ethic of empathy and recognition embodied in the organic and animistic qualities of porous, lively things.
