VCA ART 2021

Tom Sporne

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting)

My work is an amalgam of still-life and interior landscapes. I scatter my compositions with domestic MacGuffins and motifs in order to glean a narrative of my relationship to self and an other that has been lost. I duplicate these icons in a contemplative act, as a means to explore repetition and the vicissitudes of life.
