I use photography with sculptural elements to create alluring mise en scènes. Discarded objects salvaged from domestic homes, offices and shopfronts are used in my installations to create a disquieting familiarity. Vertical blinds and window frames are pushed up against glossy photographic prints of domestic spaces. These constructed environments invite others to immerse themselves in spaces in which surfaces are revealed as moments of uncertainty, tension and voyeurism in equal measure.
