VCA ART 2021

Courtney Watson

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography)

My photographs consist of twirling candy stuck in cold silver ice, slippery bubbles, and, to top it all off, dripping wet cherries. Through the lens of the female gaze, I create work that is sensual and often erotic. My work is a play of contrasts between flat, bold colour paired with artificial, reflective and tactile surfaces. The photographs bleed red and blue.
