Oliver Hämäläinen

Master of Contemporary Art

My work explores human relationships with other species, employing art to imagine new cultural understandings that open dialogues of reciprocity and solidarity between humans and our Earth partners. My multidisciplinary practice manifests in any combination of video, photography, performance, concept and sculpture, and I use my body in relation to other bodies in the world as a site of artistic investigation, relation and collaboration.
