At – Astatine – Vapour Trails

When the local council notified us of tree-lopping, we requested to preserve the raven nests as artefacts of occupation. The transactive memory of chortling partners emanated above as the birds raised their young and hid their surplus food at the highest reaches of the canopy. These corvids are songbirds and for many years they served as maestros conducting the morning chorus. This year after mum passed away, I commissioned a skywriter to stream a message over the annexation of their former residence. The vapour trail of the skyline printer marked out two lines for the sky.
